Visiting the Archive

Although only open part of the week, guided access to the archives can be arranged by appointment. A charge is made for this service. To make the most of guided access please ensure you state your research objectives and or what you want to see when booking.

Enquiry Service

Enquiries should be about REME Corps, its members and their work. In order to commission research we will require a mailing address. Answers may take some time. (Priority will be given to serving Corps members). Research will be subject to Archive Research Charges.

Charges for Archival and Historical Research

Guided access to Archives	: £10 sterling per day (10 GBP)
Provision of information to satisfy an external enquiry and research by Archivist	: £10 sterling (10 GBP) per hour or part thereof
A4 photocopy	: 10p
A3 photocopy	: 20p
Scan for e-mail or CD	: £1.00
Material written to CD	: £5.00 plus £2.00 for postage and packaging
Reproduction/Publication Fees	: Prices on application
Payments can be made by cheque or credit card
Any work over £20 will be subject to prior notification and agreement by the client commissioning the work
All copying is subject to the copyright status of the original. Copies are supplied for personal and research use purposes only.
