A short talk on an Army Engineering Career was given by Capt Andy Rogers REME and Lt Joanne Brooks REME.
A demonstration of a full size Power Pack lift and change was given by Sgt Cooper, Lc Cpl Cotty and Cfn Leballeur.
Teams were then given the challenge of designing and building a lifting mechanism. This had to lift a representation of a Power Pack and transport it 600 mm horizontally before depositing it precisely into a model representing a tank.
A trophy made by Xtrac, manufacturers of specialist gearboxes for racing cars, was presented by Leo Wybrott, Managing Director of Xtrac, to the winning team.
