The Museum Development Fund is used solely for the expansion, improvement and development of the REME Museum.
The Fund has allowed for new displays, cases, interactives and educational provisions.

Past Projects funded by the Development Fund
Prince Philip Vehicle Hall
The Prince Philip Vehicle Hall housed 19 military vehicles from the Museum’s collection, as well as a selection of models.
The Hall was opened by Prince Philip, the REME Colonel-in-Chief.
The Armourer’s Hall showcased approximately 150 weapons from the Museum’s extensive collection of firearms.
The display included rifles, pistols, spears and arrows and dated from the 17th Century through to modern times.
James Johnston Room
James Johnston was a Major-General in the Corps and a benefactor of the Museum.
The display included a range of electronic equipment, including radios, which reflected his interests.
