Photographs

The Pictorial Archive in the REME Museum consists of a vast amount of pictorial material such as photographs, slides, negatives, films & video tapes, CDs, DVDs, maps and paintings, all pertaining to REME, its soldiers past and present, vehicles and equipment supported by REME, and unit activities including training and exercises.

Donations to the Museum of such items are welcome. However, it is most important that we are able to identify the subject matter for cataloguing purposes. When donating a photograph for example, a description, preferably on a separate piece of paper, should include information such as names, dates, location and event, etc, to allow quick and efficient retrieval of the item from our database at a later date.

To avoid infringement of copyright, copies of photographs from the archive can be made available, at cost, to those persons who are able to sign a declaration that the material is required for personal reasons only and is not for onward sale or publication.
