The Locomotive Nameplate 'Craftsman' was donated by Mr C Cooper, Managing Director, EWS
(EWS is a British rail freight operating company)

The nameplate is from a Class 47 locomotive, No 47501, manufactured in the mid 1960s at British Railways' Crewe Works

The locomotive was named 'Craftsman' at Paddington Station on 22 October 1978
