Half Term Assault Course and Codes and Comms Activities

Tuesday 30th October to Friday 2nd November

Activities run from 11 am to 3 pm each day

 

Our kid’s assault course will be open offering young ones a chance to have a go on this soldier-led activity. There will also be specially devised codes and communication themed activities in the Museum for all to enjoy. These include building your own code making devices to send secret messages via our battlefield telephones, semaphore flags or morse code machines.

 

REME Spooks Trail

Saturday 20th October to Saturday 3rd November

The REME Spooks Trial runs during normal Museum hours, 10 am to 4.30 pm each day

 

Pick up your trail sheet at the Museum shop on arrival and see if you can crack the code. A chance to discover more about REME’s World War 2 spies in this fun museum-wide trial.

 

Additional Information

All these activities are in addition to the galleries, vehicles, interactives and quizzes available in the Museum every day. The Museum opens 10 am to 4:30 pm (last entry at 3:30 pm) every Tuesday to Saturday.

 

Every visit to the REME Museum helps support the good work of the REME Charity as well as preserving the history of this Corps.

 

The assault course is suitable for children aged 5 to 12. All activities require adult supervision. No need to book, these are all turn up and go events and are included in the standard Museum admission fee. If you wish, tickets can be purchased in advance via our Eventbright site.
