 Easter Egg Hunt & Easter Crafts

Sun 25 Mar – Sun 15 Apr, open all day

Spot all the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny!  Prize for the winner! Plus a small prize for all entries. Also 'Easter Craft' based activities for the family available throughout the Museum.

 Eggstravaganza Craft Workshop

Wed 4 Apr, 11 am, 12 pm & 2 pm

Creative Easter Egg based workshop run by a member of staff.  The workshop will be run three times throughout the day; booking is not required.

 Mini Shelter Workshop

Thu 12 Apr, 11 am, 12 pm & 2 pm

Can you can build a shelter in 15 minutes? The workshop will be run three times throughout the day; booking is not required.

 ‘Build It!’ &  Hunt Challenge

Complete this massive museum wide hunt to find our missing object.

 Mini Assault Course

Wed 6 Jun, 11 am - 3.30 pm

Survive Sir’s Mini Assault Course and the water jump!  A change of clothes might be needed.

The Corp Celebrates its 70th Birthday with an 'open garrison' and Free Entrance, Past Current and Future Equipment displays, Gun Run, Military Action Displays, Entertainment and Activities for children of all ages, Historic Aircraft Flypast and Proms in the Park at 1800hrs

 Summer Treasure Hunt

Sun 15 Jul – Sun 9 Sep, open all day 

Hunt for  treasure hidden in the museum.  Enter the free prize draw to win the contents of the treasure chest.

Can you build a tank or a helicopter out of recycled household waste using your imagination?

 Camouflage Workshop

Thu 2 & Fri 3 Aug: 11 am, 12 pm & 2 pm

Camouflage uniforms, see how they work, how they have changed over the years and what it is like to wear them. The workshop will run  three times throughout the day and booking is not required.

 ‘Blitz Day’ - TBC

Sun 7 Oct, 11 am - 3.30 pm

Go back in time and capture the spirit of the 'Blitz' in World War Two at the REME Museum.  Join the “On Parade" 1940’s re-enactment group for Make do and Mend, meet The Home Guard, Monty & The Spiv, Bomb Disposal, experience a manned RAF Plotting Table and much much more.

 ‘Birthday Bonanza’ Half Term Activities

Wed 31 Oct – Fri 2 Nov, 11 am - 3.30 pm

Its REME’s 70^th birthday! Help us celebrate it with fun and games.

 All events are drop in - No booking necessary.

Suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years old.              

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
