Visit the REME Museum this May half term for lots of fun family activities.
This year the REME museum’s popular soldier led army assault course returns on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st of May. Challenge yourself to gain the best time around our child friendly, but challenging, assault course under the watchful eyes of the REME Corps soldiers. On Wednesday 29th of May let loose your creative side, with our recycled material model making session ‘Scrap Tanks’. Using clean, recycled material, come along and create your own armoured fighting vehicle. Throughout the week, try your hand at being a detective with our fun ‘Tradesman’s Tools’ challenge. Help our unfortunate REME Craftsman find their missing tools, lost around the museum, before they get in trouble!
This year, alongside our usual opening days of Tuesday to Saturday, we are also opening on Bank Holiday Monday. REME Museum opens 10:30am – 4:30pm, with last entry being at 3:30pm.
The REME museum’s excellent ‘Crown Café’ will also be open throughout the holiday, serving their delicious selection of food and drinks.
