Mark your calendar for our annual 'Military and Transport' themed Model Show filled with incredible model-making talent guaranteed to appeal to all.

This is a family friendly event, for enthusiasts and anyone with passing interest alike! You can expect:

  • Exhibitions of incredible models from modelling clubs, including IMPS (UK), and individuals from across the country
  • Opportunities to buy modelling kits from clubs and trade stands
  • Remote-controlled models showing off, moving over and around obstacles
  • Entry to the REME Museum (the Model Show takes place throughout the galleries and venue spaces)
  • Display from the museum’s own collection of models

Tickets

Tickets should be booked online in advance. 

Pricing: Adult £15, Child £7.50, Family £40. Gold Card and Annual Pass holders free.

Refreshments

Crown's Café will be open to visitors with a ticket to the event, offering breakfasts, lunch, tea, coffee and of course cake! The cafe will open from 09.30.

Getting Here

Find us just outside of MOD Lyneham, Wiltshire. You can get to us by car, public transport, bicycle or on foot. Find general information on Getting Here.

Parking

Free parking will be available in our large car park, we ask that you please reserve a parking space if you need one in advance

Blue Badge spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis and you must have reserved a parking space online. Unfortunately we cannot reserve specific spaces in advance, so please plan your arrival accordingly.

If you can, please consider travelling by alternative means.

Dog Policy

Dogs are welcome on the museum grounds but are not allowed inside the building, with the exception of assistance dogs.

We can provide water in bowls outside the cafe and by the main entrance, please just ask if these are empty!
