Come and create your own special REME-inspired vehicle to take away with you! Get creative and see what you can make from recycled materials. The only limit is your imagination!

LEGO® Engineering

Wednesday 28 October

Pre-bookable sessions, Education Suite

Unleash your inner engineer and build a vehicle from genuine LEGO® parts that will actually drive!

Led by our Education Officer, Andrew, these sessions are limited in capacity to allow for suitable supervision, please book your space in advance to avoid disappointment. Recommended for ages 7 and above.

LEGO® Engineering Workshop booking will open nearer to Half Term. To pre-book your session, please book your general admission tickets on a suitable date, then add on a LEGO Workshop ticket (one per group). You'll then be able to choose your time slot.


Cardboard Engineering

Thursday 29 October

Drop-in, Education Suite

Grab your thinking hat and some recycling and find out just how many different types of engineering you can do with one of the simplest materials! You'll be jumping, flying and driving with joy!

Meccano Makes

Drop-in, Education Suite

Get hands-on with Meccano construction sets to engineer your own vehicle, equipment and more!

What else can I expect during my visit?

All activities included in museum entry fee.

Crafts will be available in Creation Station if you'd prefer a self-led activity at your own leisure.

Visit the museum's galleries for an interactive experience telling the story of REME, including our current special exhibition.

Visit our not-for-profit Crowns Cafe for tasty refreshments, barista-style hot drinks and freshly cooked food.

Find a souvenir from your visit in our gift shop.

We have a large, free car park with Blue Badge spaces and dedicated coach parking.

If you are planning to visit as a Holiday Club or similar group, please contact us to arrange a special booking. We may be able to accommodate larger groups if you book in advance.
